Here is the final fight of the 2009 K-1 World Max tournament. Andy Souwer advanced by beating Buakaw Por Pramuk and to this day, many fans feel as though Buakaw won that fight and that the judges screwed him over. Giorgio Petrosyan fights like a cyborg and in this fight, he picked Andy Souwer apart for the duration of the fight (he even dropped him with a knee) in route to becoming the tournament champion. It seemed as though Souwer didn’t have any answer for the onslaught on punches, kicks and knees that Petrosyan threw at him. Perhaps Buakaw Por Pramuk could have given Petrosyan a tougher challenge as they fought to a draw before but hopefully that’s a fight we’ll get to see sometime in the future.
